Not again!
I'm sick and tired of a couple of things today:
- Watching Indian captains go on the defensive the moment a four or two is hit (and more broadly, not taking any sort of intiative). Kumble's captaincy today was lame. Deep fields, minimal slip cordon? Come on. This business of giving singles to a recognized batsman so as to get the other supposedly "weaker" one has never, ever, worked. But Indian captains keep on doing it. I've seen Azhar, SRT, Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble all do it. It doesn't work. Give it up.
- Watching Harbhajan and Kumble wheeling away ineffectively. The pair have done tons of damage at home. But recently it seems to me that the two can't buy a wicket. We have so many good quicks. Why not play three of them on some quicker pitches?

Totally agree with point 1 - but that should not surprise anyone really. And thats the reason why everyone is so excited about MSD.
Point 2, for this test, I am not so sure.. There is still some ways to go in this test and Kumble and Bhajji may just have a role to play still.

Bhajji and Kumble could still have a role to play, yes. Especially if India can bat till mid-4th day! I'm just getting worried about these guys because I'm getting the feeling that too many teams have been able to escape on fifth days as well with the two bowling. I'm thinking Pakistan recently (on both of their recent tours), and others (Zim, NZ) in the not so distant past.
