Samir, I forgot; it is McGilvray, in fact. McGilrae is how I remembered it said too, but it's spelt in this mysterious way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_McGilvray
Mukul, yes, thats the right spelling. I'm not sure I've ever heard him live to be honest. I think I do, but memory could be playing tricks. I did play cricket with his nephew when I lived in Sydney.
