Joi ICL-Bangla

The Bangladeshi exodus to the ICL may be more significant than it seems: it creates the possibility for more national sides in their tournament, and thus the potential for a small World League to form, and secondly, it threatens to affect the power relations in the ICC. Not all of Bangladesh's best players have signed but the fact that some have, and set an example with their paychecks will certainly prompt more to do so.

I believe that is where the ICL will move in a couple of years.

They've got around 6-7 Kiwis so a New Zealand team is on the hoprizon.. they got about 6-7 Safrikaans so u'll have the South Africa... and I think right now there r about 5-6 Aussies... no holding em back!

Q: I have a feeling they will continue to have national teams only for the subcontinental teams for local TV markets. The other internationals will just slot into the various 'Indian' franchises - I don't think having a separate Kiwi franchise will work, but who knows what might happen down the line.
