It took India several decades to get over the "past player = current coach" equation, looks like they are hell bent upon "rediscovering" the same about commentating! But here, they are not alone ... almost all countries seem to have ex-players as commentators, but the difference is that India thrust their biggest starts ... unlike the rest ... they get the better spoken ones even if they were not the biggest starts ... the likes of Nick Knight, Simon O'Doull come to mind.
