The Mighty Diaspora Strikes Again
Fine, so India couldn't stay in the ICC T20 World Cup and entertain us a little longer. And to make things worse, they lost to England. But at least I've had the satisfaction of watching two guys named Ramnaresh and Shivnarine knock England out of the World Cup. Thanks lads. We hope you love us too.
Rally Round the West Indies! (Just like the old days, when cheering for the Windies was the smartest option for an Indian fan).

Nothing left, but to cheer for them now. Maybe the Pakistanis who seem to be repeating their 1992 turnaround.
I have no clue if the groupings will permit this, but I am rooting for the following semi-final line-up:
Sri Lanka
Pakistan
West Indies
South Africa
And then I shall wait for the Rediff.com message boards to kick in and give me tremendous merriment by way of match-fixing allegations that will no doubt be brought up by someone. :-)
Krish: Yup, I've got their back :)
JQ: I love the rediff.com message boards - they are surreal beyond measure! (BTW, I think that lineup will result for sure).
Speaking of Rediff message boards, I am sure you will enjoy this.

I'm not sure you're gonna stand by that rallying call, Samir, after this semi. This was the worst, most uncaring performance I have seen in this cup. I have complete contempt for this WI team right now.
JQ: Thanks for that link - that was hilarious. I hope someday those comment boards will be collected and the greatest hits released.
Josef - it was a pretty bizarre performance all right. I don't think I've seen a worse batting one for sure. I'm very glad SL are in the final - they will put up a very good show.
