We'll wait and see
This piece, in praise of the Dhoni-Kirsten combine, was written a few days before the Chennai win. That result does not change my opinion that the piece is premature and a better assessment of the partnership will be possible when Dhoni takes his boys overseas.

As an Indian cricket fan I have learnt not to get too excited over a couple of victories..A part of me wants to stay cautious and wait for an overseas victory before hailing the duo (and the team). Another part feels that things just might be different this time and perhaps I can put my faith in this team that just doesn't want to give up easily.
