Cap'n MS

MS Dhoni is captain of the Indian one-day squad. Still no place for Virender Sehwag, but mercifully, no place for Agarkar or Patel either. And Harbhajan and Pathan are back. A home series is a reasonable place to start off as Indian one-day captain, though the opposition is not going to make life easy for him. (Neither will the Indian media or fans). Welcome to the crown of thorns, MS.

VS would find a place later than sooner, when the seniors are rotated in the subsequent phases of the gruelling 12 ODi schedule.

And MSD should do well as captain, given his flair for aggression and adaptabality factor as per the conditions.

He might face some resistance from Yuvraj Singh, but then if thats for the betterment of the team, then its welcome.

interesting would be to see, how he handles the media and errant fans.
