Silly boy

Ooooh. Dinesh Karthik is going to be very, very upset with himself when he looks at the replays of his dismissal. A lazy shot, a missed hundred, and tactically, a big blunder by letting another wicket fall so soon after the captain's wicket fell. England are back in the game now. For all their efforts of the morning, that makes it the third Indian batsman so far that has gotten off to a start and failed to really, really get on with it. Like this series, this innings refuses to be a straightforward one.

Hey Samir

Something worth chuckle. Another blogger takes on Andrew Miller and as usual kiddish he goes in his arguments.....

Atheist: I realized that after all those replays showed up. Karthik's reaction wasn't the typical "Oh-I-got-buggered-by-the-ump" one so I didn't make too much of it.

Tugga: I think Miller is cracking under the strain :)

Needs to get that monkey off his back quickly...DK is fast becoming another Chetan Chauhan of India for whom centuries (let alone a big one) is a ton too far.

But this lad looks the part and certainly promises more. India needed one top order to be still batting at the end of day.

Upto the the Cheetah and dada..of course, Silk Cut's also there with hammerhead Dhoni (just appointed captain and all that...incentive and the right conditions for his natural play.

Soulberry: I agree Karthik is the real thing; I'm very impressed by both his skills and attitude. Hey, I didn't get the Cheetah and Silk Cut references; I'm so out of it. Please explain :)

Cheetah's Tendu...does Tendua stand for Cheetah or Panther?

Silk Cut is Laxman...just the way I see them :)

Blast the ICC finger-slingers!

Its ridiculous to see the umpiring standards in this series. Now all 3 big guns have got shockers and Ganguly being the most unfortunate of the lot.

Yet nothing would happen, the 3 esteemed black coat goons would keep raising their crooked fingers on dubious and half hearted appeals without bothering to check if there was an inside edge for an lbw or not.

And if this is the standard of the elite panel of the ICC, then why the heck they have kept Indian umps out of the Test list ?

Ganguly s reaction should have embarrased Howell to shame , but i guess he s too thick skinned even to accept he follied!!!!!

Well, the hammerhead struck again!

The most dangerous streetwise shark of cricket, Mahendra Dhoni has pitchforked India smartly to a series win. Played time and scored runs...the tail did live upto their rating as providers of 80-100 runs in partnership with an elder.

The Hammerhead struck in emphatic fashion!
